Form 5500 and Summary Annual Report (SAR)

BSG^® prepares Form 5500 and SARs for welfare benefit plans on an annual basis.

Educational Seminars

BSG^® hosted, in cooperation with Michael Best & Friedrich, LLP, a compliance seminar in the summer of 2001 which discussed the 2001/2002 compliance updates, HIPAA privacy rules, Section 125 plan updates, claim transaction rules, ERISA updates, electronic data rules and USERRA rules. As new compliance issues are developed, new seminars will be available.

PlanAhead Newsletter

BSG^® publishes a monthly newsletter, PlanAhead, which is available electronically through the BSG^® website. The newsletter includes information regarding employee benefits such as case histories, trends and statistics, innovation and new products, and legislative review and compliance.

HIPAA Compliance Manual

BSG^® has entered into an arrangement with Michael Best & Friedrich, LLP (MB&F) to provide BSG^® clients the opportunity to purchase a HIPAA privacy compliance manual. The manual provides model document sets relative to privacy rules only, not legal advice. 

Legal Opinions

With our partnership with Michael Best & Friedrich, LLP BSG^® occasionally obtains legal opinions pertaining to employee benefit issues when necessary.
