Develop
Short and Long-Term Goals and Work Plans
 |
BSG® begins by learning your corporate mission statement, organizational structure and benefits philosophy. We use this information to develop goals and an overall benefit mission statement. This statement may include overriding principles such as the desire to implement a cafeteria plan, a defined contribution health plan, or a regional best practice approach. We will then develop a work plan consistent with the goals and mission statement. The work plan is generally a 3 - 5 year plan outlining goals for each benefit program, the projects that need to be completed, and the suggested timing for each. This plan is periodically reviewed and updated as necessary. |
Integrated Benefit Plan Review, Analysis and Design
 |
BSG® requests a significant amount of data so that we can inventory current plans, and benchmark plan designs, cost and contributions. We compare the data collected with the goals and benefits philosophy as well as to best practice information. We conduct a compliance audit to make sure existing plans are in compliance with applicable regulations and suggest changes, where appropriate. BSG®'s detailed analysis reviews the following: |
- Plan Cost, COBRA and Retiree Rates
- Contributions
- Experience Review
- Demographics
- Plan Design
- Severity of Claims
- Regional Contracts
- Networks
- Prescription Drugs
- Benchmarking Studies
- At the completion of the analysis, BSG® provides a list of recommendations to assist you in achieving your short and long-term goals.
